General Race Rules

  1. Your car number is your GSCA number!

  2. The official rules are the ones printed in the program and/or with the Race Director. No exceptions.

  3. All heads-up racers will be required to fill out a heads-up Tech form. If the car is in compliance with the rules by the RRA and/or their are no protest by other racer(s) (in class) the car is approved by the Race Director. If the car is found non compliant by the RRA and/or their is a protest by other racer(s) (in class) the Race Director will make the final ruling. The Race Director will keep all tech forms. Driver's licenses check is required.

  4. Safety teching will be done by Beech Bend staff according to Beech Bend rules at the scheduled times only. No exceptions!

  5. You will not be allowed to run without the appropriate race sticker properly affixed to the upper right corner of the windshield, facing the car.

  6. All cars MUST have class designations on front AND rear windows during qualifying and eliminations.

  7. All cars must be Buick powered. No corporate engines.

  8. All drivers must be current GSCA members. Cars must be owned by current GSCA members.

  9. All cars must be in cosmetically decent condition. No rust buckets or bondo-mobiles. We want good press at our Nationals.

  10. Your GSCA number along with your race class designation MUST be on your tech card.

  11. On race day, Saturday, you must have the proper race class designation on your car at all times.

  12. You have 15 minutes to report to the staging lanes after your race class is called. After the allowed time you will be disqualified.

  13. All prizes/trophies not picked up by closing Saturday will be shipped within 6 to 8 weeks.

  14. You may run only one race class per day. Super 16 cars may drop back to Bracket 1 after first round of S-16. After completion of S16 racer may enter the BG (Big Gun Shootout).

  15. Courtesy staging will be enforced. Starter will back out a contestant when driver lights both stage lights before competitor pre-stages. If starter does not see this happen and you stage, race can be run with no recourse.

  16. Display of  "for sale" in any form will result in disqualification.

  17. Any violations or disputes must be brought to the attention of the GS Nationals Director. His decision is FINAL.
